There were two windshields used in  88, if yours is the early one the one out
of the 90 will not fit.  Measure the distance from the lower left corner to
the vin # .  If yours is the other one, your vin # will be covered up.  It was
discussed earlier how hard it is to remove the windshields without breaking
them. Takes a tool called an Equalizer use by professional installers.
