It's not the tumbler, it's the electrical component, which contains the
lockout,  the spring-back, and all the detents. We sell so many of these
we stock most of the more common ones in multiples, and we're a small
shop. Primary cause of failure is a large(heavy) bundle of keys,
secondary cause is old age/heavy use. BMW, Audi, VW, Porsche, Nissan,
MBZ, they all do it. Lubing it may make you feel better, but it won't
fix it. Tumblers rarely fail. WARNING!Professional opinion here.
