Valve clatter

	Mine starts in at any rev level.  Heavy acceleration causes it.  Depending on
the temp it may start at anywhere from 0.8 bar up.  With the engine speed as
low as 1800 r/m.  So I may be chasing a different gremlin.  
	Based on some comments I've gotten, there's a chance the lifters may have
gone soft while the engine was sitting around waiting on install.  I've got to
do some checking on that theory.  I have several spare sets, so I might just
do a swap next week.
	I've changed out all the temp sensors, so they seem to be cleared of guilt.
You might want to check yours, though.  They can contribute to what you're
describing.
