new subscriber/v8 miles to go calculation

<<on the '90 v8 my wife drives, more often than not, the "miles to go"
till empty reading on the computer gives numbers that are hilariously
incorrect. >>

	One of my '87 5KCSTQs may go one better.  The computer starts at 575 miles to
go, then counts down rapidly until about 1/4 tank.  After it gets to about 25
miles to go, it starts in the opposite direction!  I've watched the thing GAIN
miles-to-go up to about 200 miles.
	My solution?  I ignore that part of the computer and always reset the trip
odometer when I fill up.  (No, I don't trust the fuel gauge....)
