I think this is one of the ideas behind making the F117 the ugliest
airplane ever to fly. Flat, reflective surfaces reflect only in one
direction, rarely back where they came from. I spent some time with the
F117s a couple weeks ago at Holloman AFB, they're very aware what
surfaces will be pointing where, during mission planning. Of course,
it's all corners and no curves.
