Dan, can we have a public ruling, please Was: RE: Go Vols!! and other idiocies

Dan, while I (hope that I) know the answer, can we have some sort of
_public_ comment for the aid of those hard-of-thinking listers who feel that
Spam on the Clinton scandal, football scores and whatever else briefly
passes through their heads are all of sufficient relevance to be posted to
the list. Better still, can we agree on some sort of sanction for use in
such cases? I dread the day that the signal to noise ratio here drops the
way it has in the last few days. Geoff
