re: new subscriber/v8 miles to go calculation
Wylie,
Welcome to the list.
I don't know what you mean by "hilariously incorrect", however are you
aware that the miles-till-empty calculation is updated using the mpg value
that the computer calculates over merely the past couple of kilometers
driven (few seconds)? It does NOT reflect the overall average mpg. So, the
"miles-till-empty" value can change considerably depending on how hard or
easy you've been driving a few seconds ago. Could be hilarious if you've
been coasting. Yesterday, my half-filled tank briefly promised me 600
"miles till empty". That was good for a chuckle.
So anyway, stop banging on the dashboard. (It ain't a Ford, ya know!) ;-)
