Dash Lights

I have a 1987.5 Coupe GT with the Digital Dash.  Perhaps my memory is
failing, but I believe that the switches that control the trip computer
and rear defrost used to light up when the headlights were switched on.
They don't anymore, and I was wondering what steps I need to take to
remedy this situation.  Also, the knob that controls the dimmer for the
interior lights has a small arrow next to the control.  Is this also
supposed to light up?  If so I'd like to get that fixed as well.  My anal
retentiveness knows no bounds, eh?  The switch for the hazards does light
up, to look on the bright side.
