Need info on 90V6 cat recall

Hey all,
My buddy has a 90V6 auto, and he just told me the other day that he had his
cat replaced by a local shop.  I remember that Audi had a recall regarding
this and was replacing cats on the automatic V6 90s.  If anyone has more info
on this, let me know so my friend can go to Audi and maybe get part of the
cost of the new cat refunded (it wasn't at the dealer though...).
