Yes, and no.  Any clear plastic will absorb some IR, they aren't very 
efficient.  How much?  You need a bit of equipment to test that.  
Visually clear plastics that absorb lots of IR are available, I'd hope 
the maker put some effort into finding/testing them.  Was any claim made 
to a percentage or definite amount of absorption?
