Quarter in my Quattro

As I was cumbersomely removing the carpeting of my '85 4kq, finding old
pens, long lost change, screws that go who knows where, I come across under
the insulation stuck to the floorboard far from the usual spot I found all
the other change, a quarter from 1984. It looks to have been through a lot,
it is a bit rusty, probably from the time when the A/C dripped water every
time I ran it, and the countless times my cokes had spilled onto the floor.
It makes me wonder, did some German tech who recently visited America put it
there while the car was being manufactured in later 1984? Reminds me of a
computer technician I know, he used to put a sunflower seed shell inside
every computer he fixed, that was his "calling card" so to speak, he always
ate sunflower seeds.

My curiosity is aching, has anybody else found a quarter in your Quattro,
buried deep under the insulation under the passenger seat or elsewhere? Or
is this some German techies one time thing?

I will probably glue the quarter in my Quattro back, and knowing it's there,
if I ever do sell my car ( I highly doubt it) there will be an extra $0.25
just because it's there.
