V8 4kq and flashy A4

On the V8 4kq idea- I know that the Anderson bros. have bounced that
one around...can't tell how seriously.  Their idea was a mid-mounted
3.7 or 4.2 liter.  Alcohol was involved in the telling of this plot...and
I don't mean as a substitute for gas.

I was at the Audi dealer today picking up a friend who was having some
warranty work done on his A4 and we say a heavily modified pearl white
one waiting for service.  It had what looked like an AAvante Garde grill,
European turn signals (clear), a low body package and front air dam,
aftermarket wing mirrors (a la Ferrari), and big rear spoiler, and very
dark windows.  Don't recall who the rims were by (bit gaudy for my taste).
According to the service rep it had a chopped suspension, mega stereo,
and a lot of engine mods.  He also indicated it had no warranty because
of all that (do I dare solicit opinions on that?).  I was really just
curious if it was a Q-Lister.  The car was at Leith Audi in Cary.
