V8 engine swap



It would seem to me that the main problem in a V6 or V8 engine swap into an 
Audi is the need to retain the Audi transmission.
This results in the need for an adapter block of some sort between the new 
engine and the trans - and if you don't do it right
you're in for all sorts of trouble there. A bigger problem is gearing - 
driving down the interstate doing 3000RPM at 60MPH
would not be much fun with a big Chevy V8. Does anyone know if it's 
possible to get Audi boxes with taller final drive ratios?
