Thinking of buying a 4kQ - what to look out for?

I'm going to be purchasing a 2nd car in the near future, 2 months or so, and
I was thinking about getting a mid-80's 4K. Ever since I saw the black 4K in
the March issue of European Car (sorry, forgot the owners name) I've been
thinking of getting one and doing the same type of thing with it.

I don't know much about the 4k, so I don't know what to look out for when
looking at one. Any parts/areas that I should specifically inspect? I've
heard that the electical systems on the older cars wern't the greatest. How
would I go about checking that out? How reliable on a day-to-day basis is
the car.

If I did buy one, it would be mainly as a city car, used for short trips
around town, etc. But eventually, I would like to modify it.

Any tips would be great.
