	I haven't done it with an Audi, but I have an American made lead sled with a
454 CID engine under the hood.  It positively EATS flywheels.  Until it
manages to break 4-5 in consecutive order it starts ok.  Even after that many
are ground down it can be coaxed to start if I manually align the flywheel
just past those teeth.
	I guess your buddy wants you to put the starter on for him, huh?  So he won't
move the wire and lock the engine up......
