Auto trans cooler failure

Justin, et al., Coolers available on the aftermarket, pn 087 409 061C,
failure often occurs due to improper coolant or coolant mixture. If your
tight with a GOOD foreign car parts store, they can probably get you
20-30% off. Commonly available coolants aren't acceptable. No special
tools needed. Trans is probably headed for the big sleep. As I've been
told by our area's best trans guy, the glues in the clutches and bands
are water soluble, and water in there is the beginning of the end.
