4000S A/C wiring
I recently bought an '85 4000S with a non-working air conditioner. The
unit did absolutely nothing, but I soon found out why. While I was
installing the stereo, I noticed that the plug to the A/C switch had been
disconnected and two of the three wires connected to it had been pulled
off. I managed to find three likely candidates: 20 ga. BK/BL (dead, not
ground), 16 ga. BL/BK (Hot) from the blower switch, and 20 ga. BR/Red dot
(grounded). The Haynes manual doesn't cover this A/C and my
experimentation has only yielded a blown 30A fuse. If any one knows what
wires are supposed to be hooked up to the switch, please let me know.
Thanks
