Speedo doesnt work, AGAIN

Ok, I couldnt find a speedo cable for my 85 cgt anywhere, it is a
dealer only item.  So I ordered one, 60 freakin bucks.  I put it in,
yippy, I know how fast I'm going.  That was a few days ago.  I havent
driven it much for the last few days.  I go to drive it today and it
doesnt work.  What the hell happened???  I checked the tranny end and
its fine, nothings broken.  
I checked the speedo end and it looks fine.  It hasnt pulled out at
all.  So, what the hell happened?  
This car is really pissing me off. Thats part of the reason I'm
selling it.  Anyone want it?
