NEW KID 5kcsq brakes

OK i will stop shouting!  give the new kid a break! sheesh. anyway the
problem with the brakes is when i am coming to a stop the A B S kicks in

and the pedal makes a light kick back and the rotors make a horrible
sound. its really embarrassing when people stare at me, so most of the
time i just hit the ABS switch off, but that isn't very safe now that
winter is just around the corner. wheel speed sensors are supposedly at
the correct distance.  i am stumped!  any help is appreciated!  gosh my
voice is hoarse.
