I changed the gear oil.....
Only about 1quart maybe 1 1/2 came out.
the rear magnetic plug did have metal all over it.
Is it toasted? It's not a horrible whine yet but is noticable to me.
BTW, I filled it with Castrol Syntec 75W90. Any problems with that?
I figure that oil is better than the stuff that came out.
