three sources - 
1.  broken weld.  btdt.  Not too hard to spot if you pull the seat...
the seat angle adjuster tends to hold it pretty firm so it's hard to
duplicate with just hand pressure.  Seat can sit cockeyed...
2.  worn out plastic bushy thingies, at the rear track mounts (on the
seat legs).  Cheap parts at dealer.
3.  My pet theory:  the holes in the center track wear larger and allow
some motion.  No idea how to fix besides welding in a new one.  Could be
the pin, though, that's easy.
