Geez, all mine have always been fine.  How's your coolant gauge?  They
both run off the same 10v regulator behind the inst cluster.  Sometime
when you're bored I'd check the wiring for *good* continuity.  Bent-ley
has a procedure for checking the gauge with fixed resistors to ground
(that's how the sensor works).  Look it up sometime.  Maybe it's the
senders, I've never messed with those.  Never had to.
