In the words of the Porsche instructor at the old VW Pacific, "You can
do anything you want, my friend, if you have the money". I've seen big
blocks in Vegas, Corvairs (interesting!), amidships in a VW bus, had an
old drag racer tell me he had a Messerschmidt car with a Hemi sitting
under it, a BMW motorcycle with a 1600 Carrera, my 73 bus, of course,
with a 911 drivetrain. Why not a Q conversion in a non-Q? Was it Smokey
Yunick, or some other good ol' boy that said " all it takes is cubic
money "?
Practically, I think not.  Vast structural differences.
