Correct - I have a catalog from an electronics wholesaler I buy from in
Miami - they offer the 3.5" round speakers used in many US cars - front
speakers - they sell for about $17 at Radio Shack - same exact item costs
79 cents in single units, less if you buy a case of 12. 8" and 12" woofers,
good quality, can be bought for $10-15, really expensive ones cost as much
as $30 each. - Wholesale -

Correct again - and incredible results for a little effort isn't limited to
car audi!

Most of the car stereo stuff I've seen has two prices - retail, which I
HOPE nobody on THIS list pays, and actual, which is orders of magnitude less.

I don't listen loud (the Audi 5 cyl makes sweet enough music for me most of
the time), but I do want quality sound when I do listen - and Caliban is
right - it doesn't take huge amounts of effort or money to get it.
