Nope, not sure at all; I wasn't looking at anything. I'll check on that...
OK, checked on that: you're right, BI-LEV should throw heated _or_ cooled air
out the center vents: 3(sides), 4(center), and through (5)footwell vents.
It was AUTO and ECON that go from 3(sides) and 4(center) with cooled air, to
1(center defrost) 2(side defrost) and 5(footwell). Defrost obviously goes to
1(center defrost) and 2(side defrost) with .
I think the system brain is the same for the same era cars... ('91). It's
pretty quick to swap them out; I once had a problem with mine that was due to
the electrical connection being only loosely connected... simple and cheap
fix.
