You can get new sockets from the dealer for about $3 each, and resuse or
get new the .300 or whatever they are female connectors.  A fellow
lister graciously gave me a few he had spare...

for now I am... wait, no, I put the .25" females I had on the wires and
used them in some spare used sockets, and jammed them on the bulb
terminals.  they worked but I knew something was wierd, the new females
will go in one of these days (when I rewire with more flexible stuff?)

PS I got 100 of the .25 females from Wurth, these are the ones that snap
into pre-84 or whatever plastic sockets.  Dunno what I'm gonna do now
that I have both terminal styles running???
