Maybe on most cars, but not the _second_ time on ol' Audrey. The screen on
the filter in the hydraulic reservoir had come slightly detached from it's
surround, allowing a straight shot for fluid coming up from below (bomb
return?) to hit the underside of the cap. Drove my mechanic nuts. He
swapped out the pump from his personal car, (that "utterly cured" thing had
him, too) and it would still barf fluid. Some how a light bulb went off,
thank goodness, as he and his boss (actually, they BOTH drive vintage
Audis, I'm so lucky!) had never seen that before. First time for every
thing, I guess....

BTW, Pentosin is $28 a can up here...
