Eh?  Excellent advice throughout, but deer whistles?  I've personally 
seen a deer run into a fully loaded, double-bottom gravel truck going 
about 65mph.  I could not only hear that truck from a distance, I could 
feel it enlarging the potholes.  Is a deer whistle going to make noises 
that trucks and cars don't already make?  Unlikely.  If you've been 
around deer, you know they hear extremely well and nearly every sound 
aggrevates them.  My Father-in-law has owned and run a large auto body 
shop in Michigan for 30 years, and says he sees more deer whistles on 
deer damaged cars.  Even the state police quit using them.   Insurance 
studies have found no evidence they do anything but give a false sense 
of security.  It's nearly impossible to prove whether they work or 
don't, I can't fathom why a healthy deer would jump in front of a 
vehicle I could see and hear coming, deer whistles or not.
