The cold start injector is usually screwed into the inlet manifold at
an oblique angle and is held by two Allen screws. It has both electrical
connections and a fuel pipe going to it.
The idle stabiliser valve is mounted on the upper rear of the manifold
and has electrical connections plus two air hoses, which are its main
or only means fo support.
Idle stabilisers don't like being tapped with fingers, much less
vice-grips.
