Thanks to all for the suggestions, but none of
them worked. (Trying to scan very thin pages
without bleedthrough.)  The ink from the 
opposite page actually seems to penetrate
through the thin paper so there is no way
to get rid of it in the scan.  There probably
is some sophisticated software out there
that handles this kind of stuff, hell, I
might even have it and not know it. I'll
play around a little more, if it works 
out I'll post the parts and labor guides
on a web for listers.
