Beware, even for short money, this car sounds like it has
many more miles than 100K, more like 2-300K. The interiors
and exteriors of V8Q's wear like iron, I've seen very rough
examples of V8Q's out there, none with less than 170K rough
miles. If you're serious about the car, do the usual,
spend the $100 or so first to have it checked out by
someone who knows their V8Q's. If it's been neglected
and needs alot of work, it'll start sucking Ben Franklins
faster than a White House intern su...nevermind. You
may find in the end you've spent the equivalent of
what could have bought you a pristine car.

BTW-What was the name/location of the dealer? I hope
they throw the book at the guy. A friend of
mine was thrown in jail in Las Vegas (he was on his
pseudo-honeymoon) for driving around in a stolen
BMW. Hey, I told him to buy an Audi, that's what he
gets for not listening. Took him a week and several
hundred dollars to convince the authorities he had
bought the car in good faith from a dealer here in
Boston. They found the dealer guilty of VIN# alteration,
selling stolen cars, sellng cars on consignment and not
re-imbursing the seller, insurance fraud amoung other
things....bottom line, he served 1 month in a Mass.
jail and is back in business, selling and servicing
high end cars. I won't give his name here, but if
you're in Mass. caveat emptor if you're doing business
with an Asian gentleman with a one letter (vowel) last
 name.

 BCNU,
