I have a friend with a 88 5000s Avant, Auto that idles too low.

He has fixed this in the past by adjusting some kind of allen
screw behind the fuel injection distribution thingy... (Nice
technical
	term...)

Thingy = 5-6" diam, cylinder where the fuel lines all come out of
and
connect to the individual fuel injectors.....

And the questions is... what size allen screw is that ?

If I understand what part you are referring to, on my 1988 90q, it is 3 mm.
You may find it difficult to find a long allen wrench that size. If you buy
a 1/8 inch T-handled one, you can use an abrasive wheel to take off a
smidgen at the end to get it to fit. Note this screw is for idle mixture
adjustment, and shouldn't be used for idle speed adjustment. You may wish
to search for air leaks.
