Run that past me again.  If the #2084 is engaged in the harmonic
balancer but the forks are lying on one side of the post they should
engage, surely the crank is significantly off TDC?

I think the factory only went over to rubber last year.  Cork gaskets
have been the norm as original parts, and Martin Parker at BR Motorsport
_still_ prefers cork.
