Allen bolts on the center driveshaft???

Hey all...tell me this isnt insane.  I took the rear subframe and diff 
out of the parts car.  Unfortunately, i have to get rid of the diff and 
center prop shaft because some idiot used allen bolts to secure the 
central driveshaft to the rear diff.  WEll, needless to say, they are 
stripped and i cant get the things detached.  The other 3, the ones that 
i was able to get off, were the normal 12 pt kind.  The same thin was 
happening on the tranny side as well...one would be 12pt, the other would 
be allen.

When i took the tranny out with the owner of my parts car, (he gave it to 
me), he swore that no work had ever been done to the tranny or anything 
that would require the central driveshaft being removed, which would mean 
that that is factory????
