'84 4000S quattro Control Arm Bushing

Hey all!  Got a 4000S quattro, recently changed my rear control arm
bushings, but when I drove it there's a big difference in the cars
handling and movement.  I used an Audi 80 front control arm (because I
wanted to save time and had the old ones pressed out and all I had to do
was take my old one out and install the Audi 80 control arm with new
bushings), but when I drove the car, it seems to rock left to right, or I
feel the whole car moving left and right whenever I just turn the steering
wheel lightly.  Is this just an alignment problem?  (I know I gotta get
one soon but don't have time yet) or is it because I used the front
control arm for the rear?  (the front and rear control arm seemed the
same, has anyone done this?)
