Re: '84 4000S quattro Control Arm Bushing

I have seen this with tires. My buddy got a wabbit a few years ago after
having driven mine. (I had a 4 door for 7 years until I got stuck in mud
one day and changed to my 4kq). Anyway, his wabbit felt like it was
falling over evry time you would turn the wheel. It had really crappy
but fairly new tires on it. I told him to get some better quality tires,
but he wasn't convinced that was the problem. He finally did get better
ones 2 years later in preparation for selling it and then it steered
very nicely. In the "old" days, you could get very bad/dangerous
handling by putting bias ply tires on one end and radials on the other.
Are bias ply tires sold anymore? (Outside of racing and restoration)
