Yes, it does, and it's very likely that it's worn. To test this, start the
engine, let it
run for about 1 minute then switch off and count how many times can you
fully depress the brake pedal before you lose the assist. Less than 10
times = the bomb has to be replaced.

You should see 1.3 to 1.4 bar at full throttle.
