RE: LED-type voltmeter misbehaving

... on my '85 4kSQ the voltmeter seems to work just fine, but the oil temp
display will sometimes light 2 or 3 LEDs when the car is turned on.  I find
that a bit of a tap to the face of the display will usually straighten out
the display ... and once done, it continues to behave properly.
