Any help would be appreciated.  The seat belt retractors on my 94Cabriolet
operate too slowly or sometimes not at all.  This results in slamming the door
on the belts all the time. I have tried to open up the retractor, but can't
find the secret to getting them open.
I thought there might be an adjustment or I could spray with a silicone
lubricant.  Where I live there is only on Audi dealer and there work is poor
and expensive.  I have a mechanic who does most work, but he won't fool with
something like that.
