AudiFest at MH99???

I've heard from a qlister who is interested in finding reasonable lodging
for the 1999 Monterey Historics.  As I stated in my earlier missive that
QCUSA was going to be arranging for a block of rooms for its members.  I do
know that there are q-listers who choose not to be members of QCUSA ... so I
thought that I'd see how much interest there is from q-listers in trying to
find common lodging, much like is done for the AudiFest at Pikes Peak.  

If you have any interest at all in going feel free to send me a private
e-mail and let me know what your interests are for lodging (e.g. how far
from the track you want to be, what days you'd be likely to stay, room
preferences, how many people, whatever).  If it does look like there is
sufficient interest I will take charge of arranging something that meets
these needs as best I can.  I know from my own experience at Pikes Peak that
during the event people tend to do their own thing, so meeting for feed and
sleep is where you get the most "quality time" with the q-fans ... :)

I'm thinking that since we may very well be the ones arranging for the QCUSA
lodging the two may actually end up being one locale ... we shall see!
