Greetings list members:

I've been off the list for most of the year due to heavy work and family
demands on my time (I got a life), but thought that this advertisement might
be of interest to someone in the group.  It's from the most recent "Automotive
News" (19 October 1998), so it's still nice and fresh.  The text is reproduced
verbatim.  Good luck to all the obvious candidates.  I suspect that the part
about no contact with the public will be of special benefit to certain
individuals.  All seriousness aside, I'd be interested in hearing from anyone
with some knowledge of this outfit.

Experienced Audi technician required for
supervision and development of stock &
high performance VW/Audi product line.
Applicant will supervise the maintenance
& restoration of 2 Trans Am's, 2 DTM
V8's, Sport Coupe, & Rally cars plus
numerous prototype projects.  Work in a
new fully equipped Central Coast R&D
work environment with no exposure to
the public. Heavy VW/Audi experience a
must.
