While I'm on topic, I seem to recall a twin-inline turbo setup on the Mazda
RX7 for one or two years, I wonder if something like that would work on the
1.8T engine. The idea was to use a small turbo for lower rpms and then the
system would somehow kick in the larger turbo at higher rpm. Virtually no
turbo lag, and I know the RX7 has a redline up around 10K rpm.
