Re: where to install 4k fog's (in bumper?)
Fog lights in the bumper were an option in Europe on the type 81 Audi
80 and standard on the 90 and coupe. On my former '85 Audi 80 sedan I
installed OEM fog lights I bought from a junkyard.
You have to take off the front bumper and separate the plastic cover
from the metal. The metal already has the mounting holes for the fog
lights so you just cut holes into the plastic bumper cover. The
connectors for the lights were already in the car, so I just plugged
them in.
But: The US-bumper may differ from the european design.
