I reside in the Raleigh NC area, and have built up a bevy of cars.  I am in
the process of taking a job out-of-state, and think it is time to thin my
ranks.  I do not want to sell all the cars, just a few so storage and
moving are not such a pain.  I have been lucky to have been able to store
as many as I have been able to...but I doubt I would get lucky twice.

Possibilities include:

'84 VW Quantum "GL5" wagon-101,000 miles with at, ps, pb pw and inoperation
pl.  Have done some work on the AC and dash area.  Needs a full exhaust
(cat back...) as it fell off in July.  Needs decent tires.  Was driving car
until late July when I put 5000 CS turbo on road.  

Genuine NC car, can prove it.  Almost no rust.

'85 Audi 5000 S sedan.  Mileage unknown, odo broke at 93K.  Brown with tan
cloth interior.  I fixed climate control and horn last year, but ac part
needs work.  Needs radio, one I removed was NG.  Needs rack badly as it has
been stored for about a year.  Needs 3-way sender as I robbed it for the
other Audi.  Car originally sold in Baltimore area, PO was in Richmond VA
before I bought it through a broker.  Broker put new timing belt, battery
and cat on car last year, so the records say.

This car was going to be my first Audi on the road...but I got busy last
winter and bought the aforementioned Turbo this spring and sunk my money
into that car.

'88 VW Fox 2 door sedan.  My daily driver from 7/96 to 4/98 (approx.)
139,000 on clock.  4 speed m/t, 1.8 I4.  New exhaust system ( down pipe,
cat, resonator & rear muffler) done 6/97.  New O2 sender 5/97.  Currently
working on rear brakes and bearings.  May need gas tank repairs.

Dent on left 1/4 panel near trunk with damaged tail light, parking lot
incident 11/97.  I have a good used tail light, just been too busy to slap
it on.

Low rust, though there is some on car.  I am 2nd owner, car originally from
Madison Wisconsin dlr, po then moved to Milwaukee after college.

'85 VW GTI PARTS CAR.  201,000 miles, I purchased in Rochester NY area
5/87.  Have not driven since spring '94 and then not driven 11/92 through
3/94.  Lower dash pieces gone, along with driver's door trim.  MUCH salt
rust, courtesy of NY road maintenance.  Rear deck really rusted, no
apparent rust through on remainder of body, but plenty of scab rust.

Will need to get replacement title as I seem to have lost the WI title I
last ran car under.   Wife thinks I will break down and cry when I sell
this one as I drove coast to coast in it 7 years ago.
