RE: Bosch Spark Plugs

------------------------------

It seems to me that once the three metal things are no longer curved at
the end to follow curve of electrode, and once the electrode is more of a
triangle shape then round, it is time to replace them. Seems to happen
around 40,000 miles or so depending on the motor. Once electrode is
triangulated the gap will be different anyways hence they run worse. OR
at least thats my opinion on the matter.
I replaced mine a few weeks ago due to a hesitation under full
throttle going up hills, esp in hotter weather. I replaced the plugs and
it runs great now. Changed Cap and Rotor at this time too. They are not
too expensive and Cap contacts are usually pretty well grooved by this
time.
	Hope this helps

Just use them until 50K or so, or when they look no longer usable.
They pretty much run until they don't any more :-)
