PART2:Jump start OK,no self start

Thanks to all that responded. Yes its the good old "footwell splice". Jiggled
it around, car starts fine-cable on the engine side of splice gets hot after
running awhile.

I will run a new cable from the splice area to the starter as per
C.MIller's/Scottmo's procedures. I haven't pulled things apart yet- one
question: the starter + terminal has 2 connectors bolted to it, one has 2
cables (1 of which goes to the alt), the other has a single cable. Is the
single cable conn. the one that goes to the footwell?
