The answer to your question about boost depends on whether you have the 10
valve (pre-'91) or 20V ('91 model) engine. If the latter, the maximum boost
shown on your trip computer readout should be 1.7 or 1.8 bar. If the
earlier 10V engine and in stock form, the max. boost is (I believe) 1.4
bar.
In either case, the measurement of boost is specified to be in 4th gear:
cruise at 2000 rpm and then fully open the throttle; take the maximum
reading ocurring at (or below) 3000 rpm. The digital readout is considered
pretty inaccurate (no better than +/- 0.1 bar).
