Re: Is voltage regulator adjustable on '95 90q?



I think that the voltage regulator in the V6 is just underrated; as far
as I know it's not adjustable.  I think that the whole charging system
in the 90's could have used a little work; the regulator doesn't
regulate well, and the idle speed doesn't adjust as needed.  That goes
on my list of gripes, I guess...but lower down.  My main concern is that
the VR lets you overcharge the battery so that it has a tendency to
explode...ever try jump-starting anyone in your 90?  Don't.....
