I'll agree I bought a 1981 Audi 5000S turbo a couple of years back with 20,000
miles on it with service records, last service was in 1985 at 19,000 miles!!
This car was the product of a divorce or death but when I got it the thing
needed a turbo, seats, air conditioning compressor, front/rear calipers,
headliner, fuel tank, wheel bearings, rotors, pads, master cylinder, P/S
rack/Pump, brake booster and an oil change. The door seals had been
compressed for so long that half of the seal stuck to the door and the other
half stuck to the body. Luckily I had a freshly wrecked 82 turbo for parts....
