Hi all,

Well, the A3 quattro's finally on the roads here. 150 hp 1.8T, and a
factory-tuned 180 hp version (distinguished by a red bar next to the 'T' on
the rear, just like the 110 hp TDIs have). Top speed on the 180 is supposed
to be 230 km/h. Hmmmm...

Later this month the new and improved A8 will be introduced. Exterior
changes will be minor, but the new engines will have more power.

First quarter of '99 will see the introduction of the five-door A3 and the
S3, rumoured to have around 215 hp.

Next year will also see the introduction of the revised A4, expected to
share visual cues with the TT.

PS Just noticed a neat thing about the new TT brochure- they've made a
fold-out spread where the TT study model is compared to the production car.
Amazing what little differences there are.
